Is multitasking, skipping breaks, or having a calendar fully booked with meetings really working smart? Join us and find out!

We have smartphones, smartwatches, and smart homes, but what about working smart? Is multitasking, skipping breaks, or having a calendar fully booked with meetings really working smart? Is that the best way to work smart for both business and people? Under our theme “Work Smarter,” you’ll find inspiration to work more efficiently and sustainably.

At IKEA, the concept of working smart is close to our heart, with key values such as simplicity, renewal, and meaningful difference. But it’s common for all of us to feel overwhelmed by how to prioritize our time when everything seems important. It’s easy to try to compensate by running faster, booking more meetings, and skipping breaks.

Mental health and well-being are closely connected to feeling in control of your work situation. Adding more structure and recharging into your workday can make a real difference in your well-being.

This spring, we will offer you inspiration to work smarter, aimed at being more sustainable as human beings by focusing on structure and recharging. This approach also encourages working more efficiently, healthily, and perhaps even becoming happier. Welcome to join us!
